Delta ASDA-A2 AC Servo Drive & Motor: technical details
To meet the demanding requirements of motion control applications in industrial automation and satisfy the needs of high-precision positioning control requested by machine designers and system integrators, Delta launched the high-performance motion control ASDA-A2 series servo motors and servo drives in 2009.
Model Descriptions

| ASDA-A2-L | Full-closed loop control. Capable of reading second feedback signals to reduce backlash and improve positioning accuracy. |
| ASDA-A2-M | Supports CANopen. Includes 3 CAMotion modes and configuration with Delta PLC. 1 Mbps CANbus communication. |
| ASDA-A2-F | Features DMCNET high-speed communication. Suitable for applications requiring fast motion control. |
| ASDA-A2-U | Internal position mode (Pr Mode), supports up to 14 digital inputs, wide voltage range, simplified wiring. |
| ASDA-A2-E | Integrated STO safety function (complies with EN/IEC standards), wide power range, supports full-closed loop and incremental motors. |

- High Precision Control: 20-bit resolution (1280000 ppr), up to 1kHz frequency response, settling time under 1ms.
- Vibration Suppression: Built-in low and high frequency filters, auto notch filters for mechanical resonance.
- Flexible Internal Position Mode: 64 internal paths, 35 motion modes, adjustable acceleration/deceleration.
- Electronic CAM (E-CAM): Supports up to 720 points, smooth interpolation with E-CAM software editing.
- Full Closed-loop Feedback: Reads second feedback signal to ensure accuracy.
